Hair Tip #30: Whipping Your Own Shea Butter

Hello beautiful ladies. As you know, I LOVE SHEA BUTTER! It is one of my favorite products. So I want to show you how you can whip it to become a staple for your hair regimen.

Here is what you will need:

-Oils of your choice (I used jojoba, safflower and olive)
-Raw shea butter
-Mixer
-Spoon

Step 1: Gather all of your products together

Step 2: Place all of your Shea butter in the mixing bowl along with your choice oils. I did not measure the oils. If you use more oils, you will get a lighter, whipped mixture. If you use a small amount of oils, you will get more of a pomade mixture. Remember you can always add oil as you mix!

I did not use a lot of oil. I wanted more of a pomade mixture so that I am laying the moisture on thick during the cold months!

Step 3: Mix until you have a smooth and whipped mixture

Step 4: Place the mixture back into the container!

You have a nice mixture that you can use on your hair! So that every time you moisturize, you are using Shea butter and your oils at the same time! Hope this works for you.

Total time: 10 minutes at the most
